About the Role:
The Strategic Account Associate will support Orijin’s Tennessee Department of Labor tablet and digital programming deployments and client success efforts, managing day-to-day client relationships and ensuring high engagement across county jail facilities. Reporting to the Strategic Account Manager and collaborating with the broader Strategic Account Management team, this role will develop strategies to improve tablet adoption and provide responsive support to facility stakeholders.
As Orijin grows, we are looking for an Associate who will take initiative to drive the following outcomes:
- Establish communication routines with county jail staff, ensuring alignment on the tablet program’s goals.
- Increase Orijin platform use among the learners in the county jails in the assigned TN regional territory.
- Increase the amount of program completion from incarcerated learners to meet TNDOL goals
- Partner with clients to provide ongoing training and support, removing adoption barriers and proactively solving challenges.
Responsibilities
- Act as a part of the TNDOL team, cultivating and sustaining relationships with key client stakeholders, including county jail custody staff, programming staff, educators, and learners.
- Partner closely with the assigned TNDOL Re-Integration specialist in your territory
- Assess client goals and needs, developing tailored solutions that support Orijin’s mission.
- Identify and address challenges to platform use and adoption through proactive outreach and problem-solving.
- Collaborate with the Strategic Account Manager and Director of Strategic Account Management to evaluate account performance, identifying growth opportunities.
- Monitor key performance metrics and prepare reports, providing actionable insights to clients and internal teams.
- Deliver exceptional service and maintain positive relationships with clients, reinforcing Orijin’s value and mission.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or account management; OR experience specifically in the education or corrections sectors.
- Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly and communicate their benefits effectively.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and Google Workspace preferred.
- A belief in Orijin’s mission to reduce recidivism and improve the life chances of incarcerated learners and returning citizens.
Location
- Based in West TN (Memphis areas), with regular on-site client interactions throughout the assigned territory of West TN (2-4 days per week)
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary $50,000-$60,000 USD, Annual
- All travel expenses covered by Orijin
- Eligible for 5% yearly bonus
