As a Learning Designer, you will:

  • Develop a variety of content types, including notes, PPT slides, synchronous lesson plans, discussion forums, graphics briefs, instructional and contextual copy, and Rise storyboards, video storyboards, video scripts, and case studies, to Noodle quality standards.

  • Where the Learning Designer is the Lead on a project, act as final quality control QC point for all assets. This means, as the Lead, supervise each design team member, sets expectations with our high standards, and hold the team and yourself accountable for excellence. Provide targeted guidance to other Learning Designers to ensure that the online program(s) reflects the high standards of our EPIIIC (Engaging, Personalized, Interactive, Intuitive, Inclusive, Collaborative) learning design rubric.

  • At times, effectively balance the time pressures of multiple projects (2 to 3 projects) simultaneously.
  • Establish and maintain a positive and productive working relationship with one or more Faculty or Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) (e.g., confidently make design/content suggestions to support a quality learning experience whilst also meeting time limitations and other expectations of the Faculty or SME).
  • Communicate with the Project Manager to provide regular updates, including issues affecting time and scope of project where these cannot be resolved directly by the Learning Designer.
  • Ensure that Faculty or SME requests are reasonably within project budget, quality, timeline, goals and learning objectives.
