Position Overview
Nexford University is seeking a Technology Operations Intern to provide Learner Support, maintain SaaS platforms operations, automations, and workflow improvements that strengthen the digital learning experience. This internship provides hands-on experience with Incident and problem management ( ITSM) systems, LMS Support, Customer support, IT Operations, and cross-functional collaboration within an innovative ed-tech environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a first point of contact for technical support questions from internal Nexford teams and external learners.
- Help with internal operations such as onboarding, offboarding, tools audits, organizing information, cleaning up records, tagging data, and preparing inputs for reports and dashboards.
- Support the team in investigating SaaS tools and reviewing system workflows and processes to spot issues and suggest practical improvements.
- Collaborate with Technology, Product, and Academic teams on weekly tasks and projects, while gaining exposure to how tech issues are identified and resolved.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills with a learner- and customer-focused mindset with a genuine interest in helping others and improving their experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to ask questions when something isn’t clear.
- Interest in technology operations, incident management, and ed-tech platforms.
- Ability to learn new tools quickly and work independently in a remote environment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, LMS, or ticketing tools is a plus, but not required.
