At Instructure, we believe in the power of people to grow and succeed throughout their lives. Our goal is to amplify that power by creating intuitive products that simplify learning and personal development, facilitate meaningful relationships, and inspire people to go further in their education and careers.
We do this by giving smart, creative, passionate people opportunities to create awesome. And that's where you come in:
As a Deal Desk Intern, you aren't just checking boxes, you are a vital navigator in our revenue engine. You’ll sit at the intersection of Sales, Finance, and Legal, gaining a front-row seat to how a global SaaS company scales. If you are a detail-obsessed problem solver looking to master the "Quote-to-Cash" lifecycle, this is your playground.
What You’ll Do (The Impact)
Guardian of Data Integrity: Own the audit process, ensuring every closed deal meets our high standards for accuracy.
Revenue Synergy: Partner with Finance and Revenue teams to bridge the gap between Salesforce and our backend financial systems, ensuring quotas and commissions are pixel-perfect.
Compliance & Auditing: Conduct high-stakes audits of "Closed Won" deals, ensuring all signatures, paperwork, and policies are aligned with our SLAs.
Strategic Consultant: Become a subject matter expert on Instructure’s licensing models and pricing strategies to provide real-time support to our Sales and Renewals teams.
Process Architect: Identify "bugs" in our workflows. You’ll have a seat at the table to suggest automation and streamlining opportunities to make our systems faster and smarter.
Who You Are
The Academic: Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
The Detail Detective: You notice the small things others miss. "Good enough" isn't in your vocabulary when it comes to data.
Excel Power User: You’re comfortable with formulas and data manipulation.
The Communicator: You can translate complex policy jargon into clear, actionable advice for our cross-functional partners.
Agile & Ambitious: You thrive in fast-paced environments and are ready to lean in during the excitement of Month-End and Quarter-End rushes.
Tech Savvy: Prior exposure to Salesforce or a SaaS environment is a major plus, but a hunger to learn our tech stack is a must.
Why Join Us?
Mentorship: Work directly with seasoned Operations and Finance professionals.
Real Responsibility: You will be managing live deals and influencing revenue processes.
Growth: Learn the inner workings of a market-leading EdTech company.
