Our Services Consultants are a diverse team of education enthusiasts dedicated to transforming the learning experience. Whether partnering with small K-12 schools, vocational providers, or major public universities, they drive the Canvas adoption journey through high-impact, quality-driven expertise. Reporting to the Senior Director of Global Services (with a functional line to the APAC Senior Director of Customer Experience), you will lead the following:
Strategic Project Management: Planning and executing platform adoptions and long-term consulting engagements.
Product Optimization: Configuring Instructure solutions to align with specific institutional goals.
Knowledge Transfer: Developing and delivering bespoke training materials and live sessions.
Change Management: Navigating institutional shifts to maximize platform adoption and elevate instructional outcomes.

About the Role

  • You will be the primary operational and process leader for service delivery. Your leadership will be defined by the following five key functions:
  • 1. Planning
  • Planning for services offerings and delivery processes with key client needs connected to achieving the client-stated value sought by adopting Instructure products.
  • Planning and organizing professional development opportunities for services consultants.
  • Planning services consultant assignments to balance workloads.
  • 2. Leading
  • Leading with product and industry knowledge and directing its application for service delivery.
  • Interacting with clients and prospects to evangelise the value of our services portfolio.
  • Developing each team member to maintain focus on priorities and to achieve high quality outcomes for our clients, our team, and Instructure.
  • Leading partners and vendors that are part of our services delivery, managing relationships with those partners and vendors, and evaluating their performance.
  • 3. Coordinating
  • Coordinating and planning services support for customer success and sales initiatives aligned to success in the region.
  • Coordinating resolution of escalation of client needs and issues associated with services delivery.
  • Coordinating with global services teams to identify how to extend team capacity and deliver services leveraging 3rd party relationships.
  • Coordinating with global services pre-sales teams to build knowledge and resources to support sales & bid teams in recommending appropriate services solutions based on stated client needs.
  • 4. Optimizing
  • Ensuring we achieve company-defined financial targets and margins associated with services delivery.
  • Developing and implementing controls for team performance to ensure we maintain a healthy services business in region.
  • Evaluating success for initiatives that are not tied to revenue outcomes
  • 5. Organizing
  • Organizing professional development opportunities for services consultants.
  • Coordinating capacity to balance workloads and assignments.

About You

  • Demonstrated success in leading teams to achieve KPIs including revenue goals.
  • Familiarity with blended learning and online learning best practices and how they can be applied to service delivery.
  • Experience leading implementation teams delivering implementation and / or training and learning services.
  • Demonstrated ability to align consultation and service delivery to the full client journey and lifecycle.
  • Ability to engage a wide variety of audiences, including academics/teachers, administrators and leadership.
  • Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to use web conferencing technologies and web based tools like Gmail, Google Docs and Google Calendar to coordinate, manage and facilitate training.
