We are seeking an enthusiastic and forward-thinking instructor to lead our Impact Marketing course for middle school students. This dynamic program introduces students to the fundamentals of digital marketing, social media strategy, public relations, and digital analytics—all through the lens of social impact and entrepreneurship. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing, media, or communications and a passion for empowering youth to lead change. You’ll guide students through hands-on projects like creating cause-based campaigns, designing landing pages, producing social media content, and analyzing marketing data, while helping them build leadership, collaboration, and critical thinking skills. The instructor should be comfortable using platforms such as Canva, Google tools, Wix, and basic AI content generators. Experience teaching or mentoring students in grades 6–8 is strongly preferred, along with the ability to foster a fun, inclusive, and project-based learning environment. At least two years of college coursework (48 semester units), an associate’s degree or higher, or proof of certification through a local assessment that meets the requirements of the "Every Student Succeeds Act". -
1-2 years of experience in STEM, Engineering and or Marketing subject areas, with a strong passion for sharing your expertise with youth. -
A genuine enthusiasm for teaching and mentoring (coaching/teaching experience is highly encouraged). -
Excellent class management skills and the ability to work effectively with students in grades K-8. -
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license or State ID. -
Ability to pass a background check. -
Willingness to undergo additional training as required. -
Ability to lift and carry approximately 20-50 lbs. occasionally, with or without accommodations.
